Roman Bilyk, who recently performed in the occupied part of the Donetsk region, is the owner of a villa in Tenerife.
Associates of Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny have asked EU authorities to add Zveri vocalist Roman Bilyk to the sanctions list. About this August 30 reported Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Anti-Corruption Foundation Maria Pevchikh.
It was noted that employees of FBK, founded by the jailed opposition, released a mini-investigation in which they discussed the singer’s villa on the Spanish island of Tenerife.
According to them, the property was bought in April 2019, and the musician “honestly earned” money for it. However, those who supported the war “became its accomplices.”
FBK emphasized that they have filed a petition with the EU authorities to impose sanctions on the singer.
It can be recalled that Bilyk recently held talks with the Russian military in the occupied part of the Donetsk region, although in February 2022 he condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Currently, all anti-war records of the artist on social networks have been deleted.
