Last night, the enemy attacked the territory of Ukraine with cruise missiles and strike UAVs. In total, 44 enemy air targets were recorded. From the Caspian Sea and the Engels region, 11 Tu-95ms strategic aircraft launched 28 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 air-launched missiles. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny announced this on Telegram.
And from the southern and northern directions (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk), the enemy launched 16 kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/131 type.
However, the Ukrainian air defense worked perfectly – destroyed all 28 cruise missiles and 15 out of 16 “Shaheds” within the Kyiv, Cherkassy, Odessa and Nikolaev regions.

Recall that on the night of August 30, Russia carried out a massive, combined attack on Kyiv using drones and missiles, but air defense managed to destroy more than 20 air targets.
