On China’s geographical map of 2023, Bolshoi Ussuriysky Island is marked as the absolute territory of China.
China has officially approved new geographic maps. Among them, part of the territory of Russia is recognized as the territory of the PRC itself. On Tuesday, August 29, this was confirmed by information on the state website “Cartographic service of standard maps” of the People’s Republic of China.
In a new release of geographical maps for 2023, the Chinese state-owned website “Cartographic Service of Standard Maps” designates Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island as fully Chinese territory.
The Russian edition of RBC responded to the publication of the maps. They wrote that Bolshoi Ussuriysky Island “has remained a disputed territory between Russia and China for the past 100 years.”
“In 2008, the countries entered into an agreement dividing the island in half, but this is not indicated on the new Chinese maps,” the material said.

Google maps now show this territory as part of the Russian Federation (Khabarovsk Territory).
In Moscow, they began to sell maps of Russia, where the conquerors included the occupied and occupied territories of Ukraine.
