Five former officials of local self-government bodies of the Starobelsky district are suspected of collaborative activities. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
“According to the investigation, the former mayor of Starobelsk and the head of the Starobelsk district state administration of the Lugansk region, a representative of the district council and employees of local authorities entered into a criminal conspiracy with representatives of the occupation forces of Russian. Federation and the “LPR” controlled by them to find work in the illegal bodies of the pseudo-republic. Called the administrations of the Starobelsky, Novopskovsky, Belovodsky and Markovsky districts of the “LPR”, the message was reads.
The court granted the prosecutors’ request for permission to detain the suspects, placing them on the wanted list.
Earlier it was reported that the Prosecutor General’s Office expressed suspicion in the absentia of the “ombudsman” of the so -called “LPR” Victoria Serdyukova.
