He will have to pay a fine of 100 euros, according to the Estonian edition of ERR.
Today I was fined 100 euros. In total, this business cost me 140 euros, because I bought four eggs for 10 euros apiece, ”Babchenko said on local television.
He noted that he intends to pay a fine.
Definitely, why not? I live in Estonia and I respect Estonian laws, – emphasized Babchenko, who is a Russian citizen.
At the same time, he noted that he did not intend to hold more such actions.
No, I am not a recidivist,” Babchenko emphasized.
The fine must be paid within 15 days – no later than September 13th.
On the night of July 30, Babchenko threw four eggs at the wall of the Russian embassy building in the Estonian capital Tallinn. Soon he was briefly detained by the police, who opened a case of guilt under the article “Violation of the peace.” The maximum fine for this offense is 400 euros.
Recall that in 2018, an assassination attempt was being prepared on Babchenko, who then lived in Ukraine. Ukrainian law enforcers then staged the murder of Babchenko in order to frustrate the plans of the Russians.
