Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia will completely close the borders with Belarus if there is a “critical incident” involving Wagner mercenaries. Countries expect possible incidents, including those of an armed nature. The authorities of four countries have already called on the regime of Alexander Lukashenko to withdraw the “Wagnerites” from Belarus. This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland Mariusz Kaminsky, reports Polsat News.

If a critical incident occurs, no matter which border it is, we will respond immediately. All border crossings that are open – both passenger and cargo – will be closed,” he said.
Kaminsky stressed that the death of the leaders of the private military company “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin “does not change the actual situation in Belarus.”
Recall, the Center for National Resistance reported that in Belarus the number of mercenaries of the Russian private military company Wagner decreased from 5.8 thousand to 4.4 thousand. The reason for this is the lack of funding from Russia.
