Russia officially confirmed Prigozhin’s death

The founder of the Russian PMC Wagner Evgeny Prigozhin died in a plane crash in the Tver region. This was announced by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on Sunday, August 27.

“As part of the investigation of the plane crash in the Tver region, molecular genetic examinations have been completed. Based on their results, the identity of all 10 dead has been established, they correspond to the list stated in the letter of flight,” the message said.

Earlier, the Federal Air Transport Agency reported that, according to the list of passengers, it contained the name and surname of Yevgeny Prigozhin.

As you know, on August 23, in the Tver region of the Russian Federation, a plane crashed with 10 people on board, including Prigozhin at the command of PMC Wagner. They all died.

After that, the Kremlin assessed the future prospects of PMC Wagner. And the formal leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said he warned Prigozhin twice.
