The Ukrainian military “landed” two Iranian Shahed-136 drones launched by Russian aggressors in the Zaporozhye region. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Sunday, August 27.

“At the end of the day on August 26, two Shahed-type attack UAVs were destroyed in the Zaporozhye region by a unit of the Vostok Air Command,” the report said.

In turn, Zaporozhye Regional Military District reported that over the past day, Russian aggressors carried out 89 attacks on the territory of Pologovsky and Vasilyevsky districts – from UAVs, MLRS and artillery.

“A 42-year-old man was shot in Kamenskoye, who, unfortunately, was injured, and an injured 46-year-old woman was taken to a medical facility. A 60-year- old woman and a 59-year-old man were injured in Gulyaipole. A 68-year-old resident of Novodanilovka. All the wounded are being given the necessary assistance,” the statement said.

Around five in the morning, explosions were heard outside Kyiv – the air defense was working. Explosions were also reported in two other places.
