Former US President Trump has surrendered to law enforcement at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia. He is accused of trying to annul the results of the 2020 election. Trump flew to the prison from New Jersey in his private jet on the afternoon of August 24 and was in jail for about 20 minutes while the relevant paperwork was being processed. Then he was fired on bail of $200,000. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office took a historic photo of the former American president. No American leader has ever been arrested before.
