The US State Department said it sees “viable routes” for the export of Ukrainian grain, and therefore seeks to return to “pre-war levels” of exports over the next months.

This was stated by the head of the Office for the coordination of sanctions of the US State Department, James O’Brien.
We see viable routes for the export of Ukrainian grain … I think there are viable routes through the territorial waters of Ukraine and overland, and we are aiming to return to exports from Ukraine at the level of pre-war averages over the next few months, Reuters quotes O’Brien.
Previously, Ukraine shipped millions of tons of food from the Black Sea ports of Odessa and Nikolaev. After the withdrawal of the aggressor country Russia from the “grain agreement”, Ukraine is forced to rely on ports on the Danube River.
Recall that on July 17, Russia withdrew from the “grain agreement” and began shelling port infrastructure facilities that Ukraine uses to export grain.
