As the press service of the DBR told on August 25, even the football players of the local professional club from Prykarpattya became “untouched”.
The Bureau has identified some of the leaders of the staff of the territorial recruitment and social support centers who have established this illegal scheme.
“Recruits” got the opportunity not to actually do military service and receive financial and material support from the state. Some of them played in matches as part of a football club from Prykarpattya. Most likely, we are talking about FC Prykarpattya, a club that plays in the first league under the auspices of the PFL. The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk is Ruslan Martsinkiv.
Together with the National Police, the DBR conducted about 30 searches in the TCC of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the regional military medical commission, as well as in the places of residence of the defendants. The investigation is ongoing.
