The first ever official prison photo of a US president has been released. It was made in a prison in the capital of the state of Georgia, Atlanta, where Donald Trump appeared on Thursday to formally turn himself in as a criminal defendant.

Trump was registered in prison, photographed, fingerprinted and immediately released, because earlier in the week the judge decided to leave him free on $200,000 bail.
The Fulton County Attorney in Atlanta accuses Trump of trying to review the results of the 2020 presidential election. According to the official indictment, he demanded this from local Republican politicians.
Along with Trump, 18 other people are accused in this case.
Consideration of the case, in fact, will begin in court no earlier than the spring of 2024.
Trump became the first former and current president of the United States to face criminal charges. This is the fourth criminal case against him, but on three previous occasions he was not photographed or published.
