The head of state noted that he had nothing good to say about the deceased or about the ruling regime of the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the death of Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin at a joint press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gara Stere on Thursday, August 24.
The head of state said that he had nothing good to say about the deceased, or about the entire ruling regime of Russia, which was involved in the deaths of many Ukrainians.
“I was asked about him for the second time in a day. It was like I was at his funeral. The government of the Russian Federation, together with Prigozhin, brought us so many deaths. I have nothing good to say about these people, honestly telling you,” he emphasized. . .
The Ukrainian leader added that for Russian war criminals, in addition to The Hague court and God’s court, there is another execution alternative – the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin.
The President of Ukraine noted that now 20,000 uncontrolled “Wagnerites” could be a threat to other countries, perhaps even to Russia itself.
“For Ukraine? For Belarus? For Poland? Or maybe for Russia? Nobody knows. I think it’s a common challenge,” Zelensky summed up.
Recall that on August 23, Prigozhin’s Embraer Legacy 600 business jet crashed in the Tver region of the Russian Federation. There were 10 people on board the plane – seven passengers, including Prigozhin himself and Wagner PMC commander Dmitry Utkin, and three crew members.
