I believe that Ukrainians have an absolutely complete moral right to do what they do,” Blumenthal is quoted by Ukrinform.
The senator noted that the people of Ukraine live in conditions of constant attacks, so our state should help with air defense systems.
According to Blumenthal, the administration of US President Joe Biden is ready to provide more air defense systems. In this case, the problem is the need to manufacture this weapon. He noted that suppliers should be encouraged to complete production orders faster.
The US senator also noted the need to speed up the training of Ukrainian pilots on the F16. He believes these fighters will be a game changer on the battlefield.
Recall that the representative of the US State Department said that Washington “does not encourage” Ukraine to attack the Russian Federation, but Kyiv independently decides on protection from the invaders.
