Budanov considers this operation one of the best in the history of Ukrainian intelligence.
We were able to find an approach to the person, quietly take the family to Ukraine, as well as the conditions for moving the helicopter to Ukraine,” Budanov said.
There were two other aviators with him. They, when they realized where they landed, decided to hide.
Unfortunately, they were killed, I would like to take them alive, – explained the head of the GUR.
He promised to tell more about the abduction of the Russian helicopter in a documentary about the professional holiday of military intelligence – September 7th.
According to him, the pilot who brought the helicopter to Ukraine has two options for extending his life. He prefers to live in Ukraine.
Budanov also said that he personally participates in the planning of all special operations of the department.
Both the helicopter and the pilot are real, you can touch them, we will show you everything,” Budanov said.
