In the first picture, taken on August 16, before the attack on the airfield, you can see Russian Tu-22M3 bombers stationed there.
Photographs from August 21 (two days after the attack) show a visibly burnt mark where one of the planes used to stand. There are also no other bombers in the picture.
Recall that on August 19, on August 19, drones attacked the Soltsy military airfield in the Novgorod region of Russia, where Russian strategic bombers Tu-22m3 were based. Russian authorities subsequently claimed “damage” to one aircraft.
