The pipeline is designed to supply water to the regions affected by the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station of the Russians.

A new pipeline running between the Ingulets River and the Southern Reservoir was launched in the Dnepropetrovsk region. It solves the problem of water supply for the inhabitants of Krivoy Rog. This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Sergey Lysak on his Telegram channel on Monday, August 21.

“76 days of painstaking work. 27 km of new networks … A project of this magnitude was implemented for the first time since the independence of Ukraine! In terms of the length of the pipes laid, the capacity of the pumps and the speed of construction,” said the official.

According to him, this project was implemented entirely at public expense – from the Fund for Eliminating the Consequences of Russian Aggression.

“However, this is only the first line in this section. Now we will stretch three more. They are needed to feed not only the city, but also the communities of the Kryvyi Rih region. When ready the pipes, we will be able to pump 400,000 cubic meters of water through them every day,” said Lysak.

The official also added that this pipeline is part of a large-scale main water pipeline. It is designed to provide water to the regions affected by the Russian explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. In particular, we are talking about the Krivoy Rog and Nikopol districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Recall that in Krivoy Rog, a thread of the new water pipeline began to pump water into the South Reservoir.

As you know, after the Russians destroyed the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, more than a million residents of the Dnepropetrovsk region may be left without water.

The authorities plan to lay the main water pipelines in the Dnepropetrovsk region by autumn. Thus, it is possible to provide water to cities such as Krivoy Rog, Marganets and Nikopol.

Three sections of the water pipeline with a length of 87 kilometers will be built to restore the centralized water supply of cities and villages where there were water supply problems due to the destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station dam.
