The number of victims of the Russian missile attack on the center of Chernihiv has increased to 156 people. This is what Deputy Head of the Office of the President Oleksiy Kuleba said in Telegram on Sunday, August 20.
“Chernihiv. Cynical shelling of the center. The rescue operation has been completed. 156 people were injured, 41 of them are in hospitals. Everyone is receiving the necessary help. Unfortunately, seven people died,” he wrote.
Kuleba added that 66 residential buildings, 10 office buildings and 67 vehicles were damaged due to the explosion.
“The commissions are working and the compensation will be given as soon as possible,” he said.
Recall that on August 19, the Russians launched a missile attack on Chernihiv. Under enemy fire was a drama theater where an exhibition of drones was held. Seven people died.
