The enemy killed 7 people yesterday and another 148 people sought medical help or were taken to hospitals wounded. As of 06:20 on Sunday, August 20, 41 people remain in hospitals in the city of Chernihiv. They are provided with all the necessary medical care, 15 people were operated on, Vyacheslav Chaus, Chairman of the Chernihiv Oblast OVA, said on the air of the telethon.
The shelling of Chernihiv will be investigated by international courts as another civilian attack, according to lawyer Matthew Gillett, who has experience in the ISS and the tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
