Attempts by the invaders to advance in the Kupyansk direction were unsuccessful.
This was announced on Twitter by the British Defense Ministry.
British intelligence indicated that much of the front line remained unchanged.
However, in the south, Ukrainian troops continued to advance along the Mokri Yala River, holding the village of Urozhaynoye, despite the stubborn resistance of the Russians, the report says.
At the same time, the Russian invaders are trying to attack in the Kupyansk region of the Kharkov region. But, as noted in Britain, the Russians have not made significant progress.
Across the front, both sides are facing similar challenges: they are trying to defeat well-fortified forces, while having limited forces that cannot launch new attacks, the British added.
Recall, on August 16, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the dismissal of the village of Urozhaynoye in the west of the Donetsk region.
