In Nikolaev, Russian occupiers on Wednesday, June 1, opened fire on residential areas in two districts of the city. As a result, two civilians were killed. Nikolaev mayor Alexander Senkevich reported on it.
“One person died at the scene of the shooting, another was hospitalized, but doctors did not have time to save his life. Two more wounded are also known,” the city chief specified.
According to him, two high -rise buildings, four private houses and a utility building were damaged by enemy fire. At one of the addresses, the gas pipeline was damaged, as a result of which 80 subscribers were left without gas, and the water supply was interrupted at another address.
In addition, after the shelling, some of the townspeople were left without electricity for several hours, but the electrical engineers quickly fixed everything. The supply of gas and water to the people will be restored in the coming days, Senkevich assured.
