On August 17, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court (VAKS) found a deputy of the Rivne Regional Council, who accepted a bribe for registering the disability of a victim of the Chernobyl accident, guilty of receiving illegal benefits . This was reported by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP).
