Ukrainian defenders provide defensive positions, construction of engineering barriers is underway.
The arrangement of defensive positions and the construction of engineering barriers in the Volyn region continues. This was reported by the command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergey Naev made a working trip in the direction of Volyn.
He noted that the definition of clear tasks for the future is not only words, but also significant assistance from both local government leaders and military command.
“Commanders of brigades, battalions, companies and platoons have been assigned some tasks that need to be done in the future. After some time, we will again work on each strong point and conduct an inspection,” said Naev.
He added that he was satisfied with the work done, but there is something that needs to be studied.
According to the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, today the defenders are providing defensive positions, building engineering barriers and doing regular combat work – conducting training and improving their firing positions.
“The fighters here have returned from missions in the east. There, of course, there were different combat situations, daily shelling, daily close-range shooting battles. Based on their combat experience, they can improve their defense capabilities so that if the threat level increases, they will not miss the enemy in our country,” said Naev.
Recall that the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks in the east and destroyed two Ka-52.
