A Russian missile manufactured in May 2023, recently discovered by the Ukrainian military, indicates that Russia is running out of modern weapons. The enemy has to accelerate production in order to maintain the intensity of hostilities in Ukraine. This was reported by Bloomberg.
It is noted that information about the “fresh” rocket is contained in photos analyzed by the Ukrainian non-governmental organization StateWatch and Bloomberg News. This data adds to other evidence that invaders are forced to launch missiles as soon as they leave the production lines.
It is also reported that the rocket, discovered in June in the north of the Sumy region of Ukraine, was fired by the Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system. And the markers on the body show that the projectile was made only a month before use – on May 19th.
StateWatch experts note that batches usually go through several months of testing before they are used and appear on the front. And on the body of the ammunition is an unusually close expiration date – September 12, 2023. This may indicate that Russian manufacturers are cutting corners to rush missiles to the front lines.
Recall that British intelligence reported that Russia began to use one-way UAVs (OWA-UAV) of its own production, based on Iranian Shahed developments. At the same time, Russia depends on components from Iran.
