As a result of shelling in the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, one man was killed. This was announced on August 17 by the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Sinegubov.
“A private house was destroyed. A man, about 55 years old, was seriously injured and died in hospital. Law enforcement officers are establishing the details and identity of the deceased,” he said.
In addition, at about 6.50 in the morning the enemy shelled the village of Kovsharovka, Kupyansky district: the garage was damaged, a fire broke out. According to preliminary information, no one was killed.
Over the past day, shelling continued in the settlements of Bogodukhovsky, Kharkiv, Chuguevsky, Izyumsky and Kupyansky districts.
“As a result of the strike of guided bombs in the village of Cherneshchina in the district of Izyum, at least four private houses were damaged. The enemy hit the village of Rogan in the district of Kharkiv with two missiles, ex-X-22. hit on the ground was recorded, no damage or casualty,” the head of the region emphasized.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of shelling in Vovchansk, three law enforcement officers were injured.
