This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine in Telegram.
According to law enforcement officers, the head of the regional VLK acted together with employees of the regional military registration and enlistment office, a lawyer and an official of the local hospital. They worked part-time for men with documents in which they entered difficult diagnoses, which later made it possible to cross the border.
The SBU found out that the cost of such services ranged from 2.5 to 5 thousand dollars. and it depended on the urgency of the “order”. The proceeds were distributed between the attackers.
There was a clear distribution of criminal “duties” between the defendants. So, for example, a lawyer selected potential “clients”, the head of the VLK and an official of a medical institution falsified medical certificates, and employees of the regional military registration and enlistment office “accompanied” them in their department, the SBU said.
The chairman of the Military Medical Commission, a lawyer and an official of the medical institution was detained while receiving a bribe. During the searches, law enforcement officers found 35 thousand dollars.
All suspects are currently in custody.
Recall that earlier President Zelensky spoke about the poor quality of the work of military medical commissions. According to him, the military told him about it during a visit to Donbass.
