Now the Russian military is helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine with highly classified information in the implementation of several combat missions.
The battalion commander of the RF Armed Forces, Major Yuri Tomov, whose mysterious disappearance was reported by Russian propagandists last week along with a group of scouts, was taken by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The video of the conversation with him on Sunday, August 13, was published by the Telegram channel Nikolayevsky Vanek.
“We talked about losses, about Russia’s prospects in this war, about the attitude of local residents of the Kherson region towards them, as well as about” Ukronazis “and, of course, about the former service area at the base for storing nuclear weapons,” said the author of the channel.
According to him, Tomov helps the Ukrainian military in the implementation of several combat missions with “very classified information.”
In the video, Tomov said he was a battalion commander of the 1822nd battalion of the RF Armed Forces. He said that he underwent “partial mobilization” in September, and has been in Ukraine since October 15. Before his appointment as commander, he was the chief of staff of this unit.
According to Tomov, so far, his unit has lost almost a quarter in combat. He said that no one trains in the Russian military, and the soldiers themselves are in a deplorable state and refuse to carry out combat missions.
He also acknowledged that local residents in the occupied territories have a negative attitude toward the Russian military, considering them occupiers.
The abduction of Russian intelligence officers during the raid by the Armed Forces of Ukraine was previously reported.
