Two adults and a baby died at the scene of the accident, and a second child died from severe injuries at the hospital.
In Austria on Saturday, August 12, there was a traffic accident involving a minibus in which Ukrainians were present. Four people were killed in the accident, including two children. This was reported by RMF FM.
The accident occurred between Gawainstal-Mitte and the Hochleiten exit in the direction of Vienna. The minibus rolled, crashed into the bridge barrier and fell onto a dirt road that runs under the autobahn.
As a result of the accident, four people died – two adults and two children (aged seven months and three years). According to the fire brigade, the two dead adults were the children’s grandparents.
Another child was also in the vehicle and was slightly injured. Three other passengers sustained minor injuries.
The bus driver admitted that he fell asleep for a few seconds.
“This is a vehicle with Polish registration numbers, and citizens of Ukraine are traveling in it. There are no Polish citizens in it,” said Poland’s Deputy Foreign Minister Pavel Yablonsky, noting that the information was transferred to the Ukrainian embassy.
The rescue operation included five rescue vehicles, three ambulances and a helicopter.
Recall that on the night of July 9, a minibus with Ukrainians in Poland had an accident. A 33-year-old Ukrainian woman died at the scene of the accident. And at the end of July in Turkey, in the Alanya region, a tourist bus crashed into a truck. A 26-year-old woman, a guide from Ukraine, died in an accident.
