The pontoon bridge in Chonhar was installed by Russian invaders after the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit and damaged the bridges. The crossing was recorded on a satellite image taken on August 9. It was published by OSINT analyst Def Mon.
The Crimean Wind Telegram channel writes that pontoon-bridge crossings partially solve the problems of blocking the logistics of the invading Russian army. However, such temporary bridges are not able to provide the capacity that a fixed bridge provides. In addition, they are not only vulnerable to shock, but also dependent on weather conditions.
Recall, on August 6, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a successful attack on the Chongar bridge. And before that, Kherson collaborator Volodymyr Saldo claimed to repel attacks on the railroad in Chongar. The traitor claimed 12 Storm Shadow missiles, nine of which, in his imagination, seemed to have been shot down by Russian air defense.
