Aid for Ukraine: Biden will ask Congress for additional funding

US President Joe Biden on Thursday, August 10, will submit his request to the US Congress for additional aid to Ukraine. This was reported on Wednesday, August 9, by the American edition of Politico, citing anonymous sources.

The Biden administration plans to make public its request for additional funding for weapons and other aid to Kyiv, media reports.

This emergency funding request also includes both aid to Taiwan and money to replenish disaster relief funds. However, final authority over specific requested funds rests with the White House Budget Office.

We remind, that the media previously said that the US administration on Tuesday, August 8, will announce the provision of a new $200 million package of military aid to Ukraine.
