The administration of US President Joe Biden intends to provide Ukraine with a guided multiple launch rocket system with missiles with a range of approximately 65 kilometers. This was reported by the WSJ.
It was noted that Kyiv had requested longer range weapons to defeat Russian targets. The guided MLRS in this case has a target destruction range that is approximately twice that of the M777 howitzers shipped earlier.

The American MLRS could arrive in Ukraine in a few weeks, military training will last at least 10 days. The missiles will be launched from a wheel mount called the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HMARS).
