This was reported by the correspondent of “Public” from the courtroom.
Earlier, the State Bureau of Investigation completed an investigation against Judge Tandyr, who is suspected of committing a fatal accident while intoxicated in Kyiv on May 26, which resulted in the death of a National Guardsman.
The results of the examinations proved Tandir’s traffic violations and significant speeding, and also confirmed that he was in a state of alcoholic intoxication. DBR added that Tandoor tried to distort the content of biological samples in order to hide it.
Instead of urine, he gave water and saliva for analysis – this is how he tried to falsify the examination so that it would not prove the state of intoxication at the time of the downing of National Guard Vadim Bondarenko.
Vitaly Serdyuk, a lawyer for the family of the deceased, said that this trick dragged out the time for the analysis – it lasted more than two months. At first, tests showed that there was no alcohol in the biomaterials, but when they examined the biomaterials themselves, they found water and saliva. Alcohol was found in saliva.
The investigation believes that they have collected enough evidence that Tandyr was drunk at the time of the accident, despite the fact that he did not submit biological samples on time. For this, 18 examinations were carried out, including forensic, chemical, technical and others. The investigation also confirmed that the judge violated the rules and exceeded the speed limit. Now he faces 10 years in prison.
Tandyr’s lawyer claims that he got acquainted with the results of the examination for alcohol and says that they did not find alcohol in his blood or urine.
