Recall that a unique special operation was carried out by specialists from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and the Azov Regiment. 16 Mi-8 military helicopters loaded with the necessary equipment flew over the Mariupol defenders who were blocked by Russia in Azovstal. There are a total of seven such missions. In each case, the helicopters successfully delivered food, drinking water, medicines and ammunition to the Mariupol defenders at a depth of more than 100 kilometers. In one of the missions, 72 fighters of the Azov regiment were delivered there by helicopter, which fortified the unit already in Azovstal.
Each such flight was accompanied by fighters of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, whose names, for obvious reasons, were not disclosed.
