The DRG of the Russian Federation tried to go through the directions of Seversky and Slobozhansky

The General Staff reported that the enemy used cannon and rocket artillery to cover the withdrawal of the DRG.

On the directions of Seversky and Slobozhansky, the Russians in the past day made unsuccessful attempts to penetrate the DRG through the Ukrainian state border, but suffered losses and retreated. This was announced on July 4 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“To cover the withdrawal of the DRG, the enemy used cannon and rocket artillery,” the report said.

It was also noted that in these areas during the day, Russian troops carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 15 settlements. These are, in particular, Karpovichi, Mikhalkina Sloboda, Chernihiv region; Seredina-Buda, Volkovka of Sumy region and Odnorobovka, Udy, Volchansk, Okhrimovka, Dugouts of Kharkov region.

It was previously reported that the Russian DRG tried to enter the Sumy region.
