Kyiv will receive new batches of high-precision missiles with a longer range than the current one, but they will not be able to reach targets in the depths of the Russian Federation.

Ukraine will receive high-precision mass launch rocket systems and missiles from the United States, but they will not reach deep into Russian territory. This was announced on Twitter by former US Ambassador to Russia and co-chairman of the International Working Group on Anti-Russian Sanctions Michael McFaul.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden said Washington would not provide long-range MLRS to Kyiv.

“The clarification of the comments from the Biden administration on the MLRS (MLRS – ed.) Is even more encouraging. Ukraine will receive new batches of high -precision missiles with a wider range than the current Ukrainians, but not missiles capable of hitting deep into Russia, ”McFaul wrote.
