The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a video on the Day of Anti-Aircraft Missile Forces, one of which shows hostile targets destroyed by the American Patriot air defense system.
On the footage, Ukrainian fighters talk about protecting the sky over Ukraine from Russian missiles and drones with the S-300, Buk-M1, NASAMS, IRIS-T and Patriot air defense systems.
In the list of downed targets of the last air defense system, 05/13/2023 is written because of the stencil, above this inscription there are two aircraft, three helicopters and an aircraft-type drone.
On that day, two planes and at least two helicopters crashed in the Bryansk region. It was about two Mi-8 helicopters, as well as Su-34 and Su-35 fighters. It was alleged that they flew to attack the Chernihiv region of Ukraine.
Also on the body of the launcher there is a mark about the destruction of another Su-35 on May 21. On that day, Dmitry Pletenchuk, head of the press service of the Kherson Defense Forces, reported on the destruction of such an aircraft, but very quickly deleted his post. The air force officially confirmed the destruction of the aircraft on 22 May.
The next day, the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuri Ignat, said that it could be three downed helicopters and that the air defense of the Russian troops could be related to this.
On July 3, Ignat on Facebook also posted a screenshot with a fragment of the combat work of the Petriot.
