The President in Odessa congratulated the cadets of the Institute of the Naval Forces of the Odessa Maritime Academy and visited the wounded soldiers in the hospital.
President Volodymyr Zelensky is convinced that the Russians will be afraid to approach Ukrainian Crimea and the coast of the Sea of Azov.
“The enemy will certainly not dictate terms in the Black Sea, and the invaders must be afraid to approach our Ukrainian Crimea and our shores of the Sea of Azov, just as Russian ships are afraid to approach our Black . Sea coast,” Zelensky said in a statement from Odessa.
The President noted that on Sunday he was in Odessa, first of all, to congratulate the soldiers of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their professional day.
“It is enough to mention what Russia’s ambitions were at the beginning of the full invasion and which of those ambitions are now at the bottom of the Black Sea,” he said.
Zelensky said that he awarded the best and accepted the cadets of the Institute of the Naval Forces of the Odessa Maritime Academy. He also visited the wounded soldiers in the hospital.
“There was also a report today by our Commander of the Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Alexei Neyezhpapa, as well as the Commander of OSOV Odessa, General Moskalev. Both about the security situation today, and about our strategic tasks – for our fleet , for a new direction – the fleet of sea drones – and for our coastal defense. We will implement everything! I am sure!”, the President emphasized.
Recall that Zelensky previously said that the losses of the Russian army in the war in Ukraine are many times greater than those of the Defense Forces.
