The Armed Forces of Ukraine have resumed the overturning of troops on the eastern coast of the Kherson region. This is stated in the daily report of the British Ministry of Defense, published on July 1.

British intelligence indicates that fighting on the east bank has intensified since 27 June.
Analysts note that since June 23, Ukrainian forces almost certainly began to move to the left bank of the Dnieper near the Antonovsky bridge and are trying to gain a foothold there.
Among the units of the Russian occupation army stationed in the area are elements of the 7th Guards Airborne Assault Division, which is part of the Russian Forces Group Dnepr.
In recent weeks, Russia has most likely deployed parts of this group, which was defending the banks of the Dnieper, to reinforce the sector near Zaporozhye. The fighting at the bridge is almost certainly complicating the spillage of water, destruction and mud from the destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric dam on June 6, says a British intelligence review.
At the same time, the American Institute for the Study of War writes that there may be about 70 Ukrainian defenders on the left bank under the eastern span of the Antonovsky Bridge and the Russians are not able to knock them out.
