“Wagnerites” in Belarus is one of the fears of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. He believes that Ukraine should prepare for the worst and most likely scenarios.

In a conversation with The Washington Post, Zaluzhny noted that Yevgeny Prigozhin’s rebellion in Russia did not have a significant impact on the situation at the front.
We didn’t feel that their protection was weakened anywhere,” he said.
The commander-in-chief says that now an additional threat to Ukraine from the north will have to be considered, because part of the “Wagnerites” are moving to Belarus.
I have many concerns, and Wagner is among them. And not only him. If we start talking about it now, my head will spin … Our task is to prepare for the worst and most likely scenarios. And we will try to minimize the possible consequences,” he said.
After the failure of the rebellion, Prigozhin was sent to Belarus, and his NDK fighters were allowed to either go to the units of the Russian Ministry of Defense, or also leave for Belarus.
Recall that in a lengthy interview with The Washington Post, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny expressed disappointment that Ukraine has not yet received modern fighters, although it is expected to quickly recapture territory from the occupying Russians.
