But the Northern grouping of Ukrainian troops is ready to increase defense capabilities. The commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Naev, announced this on June 30 in Telegram.
The general stressed that the personnel of the defense forces in the northern direction are well-coordinated and professionally trained. The commanders of these units, according to Naev, know how to properly manage their subordinates and what to do in case of a necessary reinforcement.
Naev added that the command is gradually increasing defense capabilities and is taking measures to improve the training of personnel.
Recall that on June 30, the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief instructed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny and the commander of the “North” Sergey Naev to “strengthen” the northern direction of defense of Ukraine.
The media reported that such a decision could be related to the possible arrival in Belarus of units of the Wagner PPK and their leader Yevgeny Prigozhin.
