The city of Kherson was shelled by the Russian army on Thursday, June 29th.

Residential areas were again under enemy fire. Residential buildings, a medical facility, a company car, as well as the city school, where the “Point of Invincibility” was deployed, were hit by the occupiers. The head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, announced this on Telegram.
The Office of the Prosecutor General noted that at about 13:00 Kherson was fired from Russian artillery. Warehouses were destroyed, and other civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged by debris. Two people died, two more civilians were hospitalized with burns.
The Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office launched a pre-trial investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors, together with police investigators, carry out the necessary investigative actions.
Recall, on June 28, Russia fired at the border village of Volchanskie Khutor in the Kharkiv region. As a result, three civilians who were near their homes were killed.
