Belarus is strengthening military cooperation with Russia by creating joint training and combat centers.
Training and combat centers will be created on the territory of Belarus, where they will train the Belarusian and Russian military. This is stated in the draft agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, according to the Telegram channel Maya kraina Belarus.
It was noted that this initiative will be approved by the lower house of the Belarusian parliament tomorrow, June 28.
The draft agreement states that the training and combat centers allegedly correspond to the goals of maintaining peace and stability in Russia.
The soldiers’ wages will be paid by their country of origin. But at the same time, funds for providing food, clothing and medical services will be taken from the Belarusian budget.
Recall that in the autumn of last year, the formal leader of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko approved the creation of joint centers with Russia on the territory of the Republic of Belarus for military training of both armies. Lukashenka signed the corresponding decree on October 31, 2022.
Earlier, the State Border Service of Ukraine noted an increase in the number of Russian troops in Belarus.
