Winners of the Drone Hackathon will win millions in contracts that will result in technology that will help fight the Iranian shaheeds.
Three Ukrainian manufacturers, winners of the Drone Hackathon Anti-Shahed, will receive one million dollars each for implementing and scaling developments against enemy UAVs. This was announced on Monday, June 26, at the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
“Now it is very important to create alternative systems to counter the Iranian shaheeds. There are cool cases in the Army of Drones, when not only foreign drones, but also domestic-made UAVs were delivered to the front line. The Drone Hackathon brought together 50 developers, engineers, cyber experts and enthusiasts to create advanced systems and technologies for detecting and destroying enemy drones. The projects were reviewed by specialists from different branches and types of troops, military structures and digital technologies.
As a result of the event, three winners were chosen, with whom they will conclude contracts worth a million dollars. New technologies will help fight the Iranian shaheeds without losing air defense resources.
Earlier, the Ministry of Digital Development reported that 40 new Ukrainian drones were put into operation, and last year there were only seven such drones.
