On June 24, an international meeting was held in Copenhagen with the participation of diplomats from Western countries, as well as representatives of Brazil, India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Turkey. The head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak took part from the Ukrainian side.
“We will continue the discussion in this format. There was a recognition that any peaceful solution must be long-term and fair, based on the principles of the UN – sovereignty, territorial integrity, the right to choose the future,” the interlocutor said journalists.
A senior European official also said that during the meeting, different opinions were expressed regarding the timing of the summit.
“Countries that are not part of the G7 have said that more work needs to be done to hold a summit by the end of the year,” he said.
Asked about further developments, the EU official said there are plans to hold the next meeting before the summer break, which Saudi officials have “signaled” they want to host. the meeting.

Heads of state and government at the Council of Europe summit in Iceland on May 17 supported the principles of Zelensky’s peace formula. The document was signed by the leaders of 46 countries.
