The second month of summer in Ukraine will be warmer than usual, forecasters of the hydrometeorological center predict.
The average monthly temperature in Ukraine in July is predicted to be between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius, in the Carpathians 16-18 degrees, which is 1-2 degrees above normal, reports Ukrhydrometcenter.
According to weather forecasts, monthly rainfall is expected to be 42-95 mm, in the Carpathians region, Prykarpattya and Rivne in some places 101-170 mm.
In the western, northern, Vinnitsa, Cherkasy, Poltava regions, precipitation is within the normal range, in the eastern, southern, Kirovograd, Dnepropetrovsk regions and in the Crimea, it is slightly above the norm.
The data of long-term observations indicate that the average monthly air temperature in July is 19-24.8 degrees, in the Carpathians 13-18 degrees of heat.
The absolute minimum temperature is 1-9 degrees Celsius, in the south of Odessa, Kherson regions and in the Crimea in some places 10-12 degrees Celsius, in the mountains of the Carpathians up to 1 degree below zero.
The absolute maximum is 34-39 degrees, in the south, east, Dnepropetrovsk regions and in the Crimea in some places 40-41 degrees, in the Carpathians and the mountains of the Crimea 26-33 degrees.
The average monthly rainfall is 62-119 mm in the western, northern and Vinnytsia regions, 131-170 mm in the Carpathians, 37-75 mm in the rest of the country (23-36 mm in the southeastern region and in the Crimea).
Remember that the spring of 2023 is among the twenty warmest in the history of observations in Kyiv – since 1881.
On June 2, a record for the highest wind speed was recorded in the capital. This exceeded the preliminary figure of 2012.
