In the Far Eastern Russian village of Trudovoye (Primorsky Krai), a man set a neighbor on fire with a homemade flamethrower and shot the chairperson of a gardening association in the neck with a speargun. Telegram channel Amur Mash reported this on Monday, June 26.
According to the report, an excavator dug the cable out of the ground during an investigation into the theft of electricity at a non-profit gardening association. This enraged one of the locals – he ran outside with a homemade flamethrower and set fire to a neighbor who tried to remove the weapon. The neighbor was burned, and the man with the flamethrower continued to rage: he approached the chairman of the garden association from behind and shot him in the neck with an arrow from a spear. After that, he disappeared from the house, and his wife poured gas on everyone who tried to enter the residence. Because of this, they were able to arrest a couple, and the victims were hospitalized. A man injured by a flamethrower is in very serious condition with burns to 60% of his body. The attacker is also in the hospital with burns.
