The President ordered the creation of a commission under the leadership of First Deputy Minister of Defense Oleksandr Pavlyuk to review all military registration and enlistment offices in Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a regular meeting of the Headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief, where he gave an urgent instruction to remove the Odessa “military commissar” from his post. The head of state announced this on Telegram on Friday, June 23.
So, during the meeting, the president heard all the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, heads of special services and some ministries. The issues of defensive-offensive operations, the supply of weapons, contracts with partners, as well as the growth rate of production in the Ukrainian defense industry were discussed.
“I gave an urgent instruction to Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny to immediately remove from his position, so to speak, the Odessa” military commissar “- the head of the local recruitment center, which our whole country is talking about ,” the president wrote.
Zelensky also ordered the creation of a commission under the leadership of the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Pavlyuk, with the law enforcement bloc and with the NACP, to check all military registrations and offices of enlistment in the country so that their leaders “do not dishonor our state and the memory of the heroes who die at the front.”
