The FSB asks PMC fighters not to carry out Prigozhin’s “criminal and treasonous orders” and to take measures to detain him.
The former commander of the joint group of forces in Ukraine, Russian General Sergei Surovikin, who is considered close to Yevgeny Prigozhin, recorded a video message to Wagner PMC, in which he urged them to stop. The corresponding video on the evening of Saturday, June 24, was published by Russian Telegram channels.
“I urge you to stop, the enemy is just waiting for the internal political situation in our country to escalate. You cannot play into the hands of the enemy in this difficult time for the country. We are of the same blood, we are warriors, waiting of the enemy that has escalated the internal political situation in the country, you cannot play with the enemy,” said Surovikin.
He asked the “Wagnerites” to lay down their arms and return to their places of deployment, and to solve the problems peacefully and under the leadership of Putin.
In addition, the FSB called on the Wagnerites to disobey Prigozhin’s orders and imprison him.
“We call on PIK fighters not to make an irreversible mistake, to stop any forceful action against the Russian people, not to carry out Prigozhin’s criminal and treasonous orders, and to take measures to detain him,” the FSB Public Relations Center said in a statement.
Meanwhile, in the Telegram channels associated with PMC Wagner, an answer appeared, saying that neither Surovikin nor the FSB could stop what was started.

Recall that on Friday night, Prigozhin’s statements appeared on Telegram channels accusing the Russian Defense Ministry of a missile attack on the Wagner PMC camps. After this, Prigozhin announced that he would withdraw his forces from the front and led them to confront the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry.
After that, security forces in the Russian Federation were reportedly alerted, and roadblocks were placed on the highway.
