The head of the GUR said that the feud between PMC Wagner and the military command of the Russian Federation will help the Ukrainian military to quickly liberate the occupied territories.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kirill Budanov commented on the conflict between the head of the PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which has gained particular strength in recent times. He wrote about it on his Telegram channel, saying “Putin’s fragile dictatorship has fallen.”
“The Rashists began to gnaw at each other for power and money. Prigozhin threatened to “go on a campaign” against Moscow. Shoigu, according to him, fled to Rostov in order not to become a victim of reprisals ,” wrote Budanov.
He also believed that the conflict between Prigozhin and Shoigu would help the Ukrainian military to liberate Ukraine and other territories more quickly.
“And now the word rests on our trained assault brigades, which, on the shoulders of the invaders, will liberate Ukraine and those territories that want to be part of our powerful, invincible and glorious country, ” said the head of GUR.
Budanov added that the resilience and courage of the Ukrainian nation, despite the lack of help from Western partners, helped to survive the worst days of the Russian invasion.
Recall that tonight Prigozhin’s statements appeared on Telegram channels with accusations against the Russian Ministry of Defense in a missile attack on the Wagner PMC camps. After this, Prigozhin announced that he would withdraw his forces from the front and led them to confront the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry.
The Kremlin said that Putin is aware of the situation and that all necessary measures are being taken.
