“After the occupation and fighting, there was no shelter left in the Trostyanets. 90% of the city had no heating, electricity, water and communication. Every day, the corpses of the dead or tortured were found in the city. And the number of citizens who was kidnapped or forcibly brought to Russia is still unknown ”, he said.
According to the mayor, about 10,000 people left the city. Approximately the same number remains in the Trostyanets. People need food and medicine.
“Within 30 days they ate their last meal, and some families were starving. We needed film, glass, building materials to restore infrastructure, schools. We didn’t have computer equipment … The our city is beautiful and orderly. And now it resembles a kind of was scorched earth, “Bova said.
After 30 days of occupation, the units of the Kantemirovskaya tank division were driven out of the city by soldiers of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade Kholodny Yar of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians fled, leaving behind weapons, equipment and ammunition.
